Most gym-goers following a training guide will access their plan on a mobile device, This works well until the user needs to zoom in to find the correct part of the workout. METHOD approached us to get around this problem, so their users could use the product quickly and easily with no hassle.
METHOD were looking for a new approach. We prioritised the design and UX for mobile use, then adopted a portrait orientation which would make it easier for the user to hold their phone and read the guide. This meant each workout would be contained on one page of the guide. We also included an interactive contents page, allowing the user to quickly skip to the workout they need that day.
Lastly, we linked all the brand’s YouTube videos to an index page so the user can be taken from their guide to YouTube, watch the video, and come back to the same place on their guide. Much easier!
